Call Plans

You can find answers to frequently asked questions about Call Plans in this category.

Call plans are minute packages you can use instead of your balance for calls to specific countries. When you call a country covered by your plan, the cost is deducted from your plan’s minutes rather than your balance. For frequent callers, they’re a more economical option than the pay as you go model.

Tap the "My Call Plans" button in the "More" menu to view your active and past plans, along with your remaining and used minutes. Also, when you enter a number on the keypad screen, if the country you’re calling is covered by your plan, the Included in Plan info is shown instead of the rate.

If you have an unlimited plan covering the country you’re calling, calls are covered by that plan first. If you have both a country-specific plan (e.g. "USA 100 Minutes") and a group plan covering that country (e.g. "USA & Canada 200 Minutes"), minutes are deducted from the country-specific plan first, then from the group plan. If you have multiple plans of the same type, minutes are used starting from your oldest plan.

No. Unused minutes do not carry over to the next period; if you have a renewing plan, your minutes are reset at the start of each renewal period.

Call plans and your balance work together. Calls covered by your plan are deducted from the plan; calls to countries outside your plan’s coverage, or calls made after your minutes run out, are charged from your balance.

Some plans are only valid for calls made with certain number types. The Telicall Number is always compatible with all plans. If you start a call with a number that isn’t compatible with your plan, the call is charged from your balance rather than your plan. You can view compatible numbers on the plan detail screen.

If payment fails, your plan remains usable for a while; you can keep using it without interruption by updating your payment method during this period. If payment still hasn’t been received by the end of this period, your plan is suspended and closed to use. Once you update your payment method, you can start using your plan again.

Yes, number verification is not required to purchase a plan. However, if you’re in one of the countries where verification is required for making calls, you’ll need to complete number verification before you can call.

Payments are collected by your app store (App Store/Google Play), not directly by Telicall. For this reason, you should start refund requests through your phone’s store support page.

It can take a few minutes for the App Store or Google Play to approve the payment. First, fully close and reopen the app and check again. If the issue continues, try the "Restore" option under Help. If it still hasn’t appeared, send the email address registered to your account and your store purchase receipt to support@telicall.com.

There can be a few reasons for this: the country you’re calling may not be covered by your plan, your plan minutes may have run out, you may have started the call with a number that isn’t compatible with your plan, or your plan may have been suspended because payment couldn’t be collected. You can check your plan’s status and remaining minutes on the "My Call Plans" screen. If the issue continues, you can reach us at support@telicall.com.
